Summer Cookbook Discussion

Norway Memorial Library will host a cookbook discussion on Thursday, July 24 at 6:00 pm. The cookbooks selected are The Eat Local Cookbook: Seasonal Recipes from a Maine Farm by Lisa Turner and Fresh Maine Salads: Innovative Recipes from Appetizers to Desserts by Cynthia Finnemore Simonds. Attendees will prepare and share a recipe from one of the cookbooks and discuss the books and their recipes.
The cookbooks are available to browse at the library’s information desk. To attend, select and photocopy a recipe and bring the prepared dish to the discussion. Participants may also bring containers to take away samples. To register or for more information, stop by the library’s information desk or call 743-5309 ext. 1. This event depends on a minimum of five registrants by Thursday, July 17. Norway Memorial Library is located at 258 Main Street, Norway, Maine.
