Super Tuesday Adventures, Ages 6-12, Tuesdays at 2:00 pm

October 1 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Registration begins Monday, June 24!
Fill out a form for each participating child and then:
+ Pick up your summer reading packet with everything you need to get started including a lanyard to collect badges, and a badge for Week 1!
+ Sign up for Super Tuesday Adventures
2024 theme, Read, Renew, Repeat, is a summer reading program that encourages reading as enrichment and a restorative activity of self-care. Ages 6 – 12. The Tuesday Adventure schedule is as follows:

July 2 – Inch by Inch Mother Earth & Father Sky will visit to share ways our Earth renews. We will plant a paper vegetable garden and sing songs.

July 9 – Jayden’s Impossible Garden Make a milk jug bird feeder just like Jayden!

July 16 – Round the Garden Follow the life of a water drop while creating a bracelet to show it’s cycle.

July 23 – So You Think You Know Maine with Tim Caverly! An all ages program at the Deering Memorial Community Center, 39 Main St., South Paris. Presented in cooperation with Paris Public Library

July 30Finding Wild Find your wild and take photos while walking the Rail Trail in Norway. Adults must accompany children.

August 6 – Everyone’s Got Cooties Make a craft with Maine author Maria Castellano.

August 13 – Bee Dance Learn about bees with local bee keeper and take the Honey Bee Challenge!

This year’s summer reading goal for all participants is to read at least 20 minutes a day. Track those 20 minutes and check in at the library each week. Bring your reading record, earn a badge to add to your lanyard, and earn free books along the way.
