The Pontine Theatre of Portsmouth, NH, presents “Christmas Snow” by Donald Hall.
This is an original staging of a story written for “New Yorker Magazine” in 1964. It recounts a holiday trip to Hall’s grandfather’s home in 1938, when he was ten years old. This memoir blends reminiscences, anecdotes, and vignettes that capture the continuity of family and the quiet delights of rural life. This performance is approximately one hour, is presented in one act by two storytellers, and is suggested for audiences ages 10 and up.
