2024 Children’s Summer Reading Program

Join us for our 2024 Children’s Summer Reading Program
Registration begins Monday, June 24!
Fill out a form for each participating child and then:
+ Pick up your summer reading packet with everything you need to get started including a lanyard to collect badges, and a badge for Week 1!
+ Sign up for Super Tuesday Adventures for ages 6-12 which meets on Tuesdays at 2:00 pm in the Children’s Room at the library
+ Join the Summertime Book Club for ages 8 – 12 which meets on Thursdays at 2:00 pm in the Children’s Room at the library
+ Come to Story Time and Craft in the Garden at McLaughlin Garden on Thursdays at 10:00 am at 97 Main Street, South Paris, ME
2024 theme, Read, Renew, Repeat, is a summer reading program that encourages reading as enrichment and a restorative activity of self-care.
This year’s summer reading goal for all participants is to read at least 20 minutes a day. Track those 20 minutes and check in at the library each week. Bring your reading record, earn a badge to add to your lanyard, and earn free books along the way.
