A special Earth Day story time with local author, Norma K. Salway

Bring the family and celebrate Earth Day with local author Norma K.Salway. Salway will read her newest book, Going Green with Grandma, and offer two activities from the book- making a Go Green bag, and, for children 8 and up, making a draft dodger to take home.

Salway wrote and illustrated the book about visits to her Grandma Alice’s cozy country home. In the book, Grandma and Norma discover simple, fun ways to care for the earth by reusing treasures, saving energy, composting, and recycling.
